MTF History
On February 6 2009, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk officially acquired 51% (fifty one percent) of the shares of PT Tunas Financindo Sarana. The shares acquired by PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk belonged to PT Tunas Ridean Tbk (26%) and PT Tunas Mobilindo Parama (25%). PT Tunas Financindo Sarana was originally founded in 1989 under the name PT Tunas Financindo Corporation, which then in 2000 changed its name to PT Tunas Financindo Sarana with the brand "Tunas Finance". After the acquisition of shares by PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, the name PT Tunas Financindo Sarana changed to PT Mandiri Tunas Finance with the new brand "Mandiri Tunas Finance".
Since 2009 until now PT Mandiri Tunas Finance is owned by PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk by 51% (fifty one percent) and PT Tunas Ridean Tbk by 49% (forty nine percent).
PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk is the bank with the largest assets in Indonesia and is supported by a network of more than 1,300 offices at home and abroad in providing comprehensive financial solutions for individual and corporate customers.
Meanwhile, PT Tunas Ridean Tbk is a trusted and respected group of companies providing integrated automotive solutions and is the largest independent automotive group in Indonesia. PT Tunas Ridean Tbk currently sells Toyota, Daihatsu, BMW, Peugeot and Honda motorbikes, including used car sales and vehicle rentals.
With the strong support and strategic alliance between PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk and PT Tunas Ridean Tbk as well as the presence of the new brand "Mandiri Tunas Finance", it will increase PT Mandiri Tunas Finance's ability to compete and improve performance in the future and to be the best motor vehicle financing company for consumers.
Until the end of 2019, PT Mandiri Tunas Finance provides easy, innovative and competitive financing solutions for consumers to own cars (new and used), motorbikes (specifically for certain areas), and commercial vehicles for both individuals and corporations. PT Mandiri Tunas Finance has a branch network in 102 locations spread across the islands of Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara and Papua.
