Mandiri Tunas Finance Encourages the Role of Millennials in the Business World

Jakarta, 11 December 2018 – As a financing company that is always open to change for progress, PT Mandiri Tunas Finance (MTF) participates in encouraging the role of the millennial generation in the business world. One implementation is by holding the Mandiri Tunas Finance Business Case Competition for final year students from various universities throughout Indonesia.

Main Director of MTF Arya Suprihadi, during the participant assessment session, said, “We held the Mandiri Tunas Finance Business Case Competition event as a forum for the millennial generation to channeling creative and innovative ideas in the business world. We are very proud of the high enthusiasm of the participants, where there were hundreds of applicants and came from a number of leading universities.”

With the theme “Empowering Youth Idea to Transform Multifinance Business”, the final assessment session for the finalists was held in Jakarta, 11 December 2018. The participants are final year students from universities throughout Indonesia such as the University of Indonesia, Gajah Mada University, Brawijaya University, Bandung Institute of Technology, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology and so on.

“Through this event, we also hope to encourage enthusiasm in facing an era of change. This is also in line with the theme “Spirit of Millennials” which was being launched by the Ministry of BUMN some time ago,” Arya added.

All submitted business innovation proposals in the form of videos and presentations were assessed directly by the committee and only 63 students managed to qualify for the semifinals. Participants who qualify for the semifinals must present their ideas in front of the MTF Directors who are the final judges in this competition. As a result, the Three Musketeers team from the University of Indonesia was selected as first place followed by the Tifortat team from Gajah Mada University as second place, The A Consultant from Gajah Mada University became third place and The A Consultant from Gajah Mada University became third place and < em>Golden Dory from Gajah Mada University won fourth place.
