Mandiri Tunas Finance Wins the 2020 CGPI Indonesia Most Trusted Companies Award

Jakarta - Mandiri Tunas Finance this year again won the Indonesia Most Trusted Companies Award after several years of routinely receiving similar awards. The Indonesia Most Trusted Companies Award Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) 2020 that MTF received this year is in the “Trusted” category. This program was completed well in the midst of the COVID 19 pandemic situation until it reached the peak of the Indonesia Most Trusted Companies Award which was held in a hybrid at the Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta and at virtual via teleconference by zoom. The theme of this year's CGPIawards is building corporate resilience within the GCG framework. The award was received directly at the Ballroom Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta by Pinohadi G Sumardi as President Director of Mandiri Tunas Finance on Wednesday (8/12). This award's peak event is a form of recognition, appreciation and appreciation for companies that are committed and consistent in implementing GCG sustainably based on the results of the CGPI 2020 ranking.

Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) is a research program and ranking of GCG (Good Corporate Governance) practices companies in Indonesia which has been routinely carried out every year since 2001. CGPI is organized by The Indonesian Institute for Corporate Governance (IICG) in collaboration with SWA magazine and its participants include companies from issuers, BUMN, BUMD, Bank Financial Institutions and non-banks and Sharia Financial Institutions.

CGPI 2020 was attended by a total of 32 companies as participants who had taken part in two assessment stages, namely the analysis and observation stages. The analysis stage was carried out using the method of filling out a questionnaire (self assessment) and assessing company documents, while the observation stage used the executive exposure method and active discussion between the assessment team and company organs. The assessment aspects of CGPI 2020 include governance structure (governance structure), governance process (governance process) and governance results ( governance outcome) which is described in several indicators using a stakeholder perspective. The results of the CGPI 2020 ranking are in the form of scores and indices grouped into three trust level categories, namely Very Trusted, Trusted and Fairly Trusted.

Hopefully this award can further motivate Mandiri Tunas Finance, especially in facing every change and challenge in the future, always implementing good corporate governance in order to create a company that is advanced and continues to develop.
